The show
A glass board with fine sand on it is attached to a light box.
Thereby the sand is illuminated from below, while the performer is painting the images into the sand.
A camera hanging other the light box films the show act and is connected to a projector
which transmits the sand painting performance to a screen.
The show is accompanied by music which beats time to gestures.
Lo spettacolo
Una tavola di vetro con sabbia fine su di esso è collegato a una scatola luminosa.
In tal modo la sabbia è illuminato dal basso, mentre l'esecutore è la pittura le immagini nella sabbia.
Una telecamera appendere le altre pellicole light box atto mostra ed è collegato ad un proiettore
che trasmette le prestazioni dipinto sabbia ad una schermata.
La mostra è accompagnata da una musica che scandisce il tempo a gesti.

The equipment
In particular, we bring these items for the show:
~ The light box + glass plate: we design our sand paintings on them.
~ The light box has to be build up at some distance from the screen. This is necessary to avoid a dim picture on the screen.
~ The Camera films the performance.
~ The Video projector (BNC connector) transfers it to the big screen.
~ The screen (2x2m) makes the sand painting visible to the audience.
~ If you have a larger canvas, we could use it for our show.
~ The Music system (by request) supports the choreography of the sand painting.
~ The audio monitor is used for the coordination between sound and gesture.
~ A lot of cables for the light box, camera, projector and sound system.
As can you see a lot of specific items are needed for a professional sand painting show. In addition to this the complex structure and the monitoring of the equipment during the show for the smooth running performance is to be assured.
